Biryani Rice, Indian Cooking Sauce
|In a 2-3 quart saucepan combine 195g (1cup) well rinsed Basmati rice and 375ml (1 ½ cup) water. Bring water and rice to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is slightly toothy. Remove lid and gently mix in 175ml (½ a bottle) of Biryani Cooking Sauce, replace lid, simmer for 5 minutes and serve. Serves 3- 4. |
